Careers: Getting hired at Ally

Getting Hired at Ally

Interviewing

The path to getting on board starts with an interview. There we get to learn more about you, and you about us. We'll all try to figure out how you and your skills can fit in at Ally Financial. You can make the most of your interview at Ally with these three simple tips:

  • Prepare — Do some research in advance and create a list of questions to ask us about the company, the position, the manager, the business, and so on.
  • Promote yourself — Highlight the parts of your background that most closely match the requirements of the position. If we don't ask you about a particular aspect of your experience you feel is important, be sure to tell us about it.
  • Follow up — Make sure you get the business card of everyone you interview with. And follow-up letters or emails are always nice.

Equal Employment Opportunity policy

We're comitted to providing a great work environment, one that values the uniqueness of each individual. Ally extends equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees on an equal basis regardless of an individual's age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other reason prohibited by law.

A career with Ally isn't just a numbers game.
