Giving Back: Giving Back

Ally Financial strives to support and strengthen the communities where we live and work through volunteerism, charitable contributions, and financial education.

Financial Literacy

As a financial services company, Ally Financial is committed to providing consumers with the tools and information they need to make educated decisions about credit and budgeting. Ally supports financial literacy through its own dedicated program that offers an educational curriculum at a grassroots level through local seminars and community events as well as through website tutorials at http://www.smartedgebygmac.com — all at no cost to the consumer. The program focuses on teaching consumers how to establish good credit, manage a budget, and evaluate financing options.

Employee Volunteerism

Ally Financial supports employee charitable giving and volunteerism by matching both hours spent and contributions made in assisting not-for-profit organizations. Ally has an employee-driven Volunteer Action Network that coordinates volunteer opportunities across the organization at its various corporate centers and offices.
