I had some problems in the beginning (maybe a disconnect having to set up CDs on the phone) with CD info not displaying onscreen when expected, and the timeline from money transfer to CD start wasn't explained clearly in the beginning. I think some of the customer service people weren't as thoroughly versed in your products as they should be. But I see these as minor glitches and customer service worked moderately hard to correct the problems. Overall, best rates I found on CDs and plenty of options to choose from. I also really like the Online Chat. I know most sites have it, but just glad Ally does also. Suggested improvements: * Continuing education for customer service * Show the maturation date on the first page of "My Accounts. It would be good to see the most important info all in one place, then available to print, rather than having to look/open each CD record. * Ability to perform more functions online.

I have been a huge fan of Ally :but I was really disappointed in how they handled my purchase of 2 CDs recently. When the information appeared on line, both the amount and the interest rate were different than what we had agreed on. The amount has been corrected but the rate(lower of course) still has not been corrected. This has defintely shaken my confidence in Ally. Hopefully they can resolve their internal problems that allowed this to occur. My advice to those seeking a CD is that they get email confirmation of the rate and amount that was agreed on.

I would like the option on line to set up a CD to either roll over into another ally cd or to mature and be deposited into my ally money market account. I really don't like that I have to call (and bother) one of your representatives.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Ally. They are helpful and professional, and I especially like the online help.

The rates are low anyways. Granted these may be better than BofA but again... I missed the grace period to add funds by one stinkin' day and they wouldn't let me add more funds even at these dismal rates... Probably should go elsewhere anyway.

Opened CD with Aurora first. Should have opened that acct with Ally. Aurora statments and checking on ones account is not there. Ally has a much better statement on line.

I too am very dissapointed in the present savings rate compared to other online banks . As they say, I love doing business with this bank, but any further decrease in the savings interest rate will cause me to withdraw all my funds. Not happy right now.

I have already deposited more than $200 thousand with a competing on-line bank because Ally has become uncompetitive and unresponsive. I am about to shift the $117 thousand have deposited with your organization because your lunch has been eaten with rates for all products. Ally could have had $400 thousand of my money and it will now be $0.

I have been impressed with the consistantly higher APY's offered by Ally. I have gone to other banks and have spoken to the bankers about my interests rates. It was like a commercial, they wanted to know all the information to check it out themselves.

Hate to make a call to have a cd mature into my money market account
