Ally has consistently offered the best rates for CD's, while also rating among the most stable banks. This is the reason why I maintain my CD's with them. Compare for yourself.

The Ally Bank website is very user friendly. Service has been great, deposits are quick, and communication has never left any doubt as to where my funds are. Have already opened a second account online with Ally Bank. Recommend highly.

Hello i like doing business w/u-- BUT its hard to find the CD rates please post them on more than 1 page--LIKE on account page at bottom or right side--u would sell more----i cant find them when i sign on, NOR on my account for the $$. rj Semper Fi

Compared with other on-line financial institutions Ally appears to be much more security conscious. However the system to link another bank for transfers, etc is quite burdensome. When opening multiple CD's and money market accounts, two trial withdrawals are required for each account. For example, opening 3 CD's and a money market account at the same time requires the applicant to initiate 8 transfer requests. Quite a pain. I woulds Suggest that Ally allow one transfer sum initially to fund multiple accounts, eliminating a cumbersome, time consuming process for the depositor.

Other financial institutions are offering higher rates. Not worth saving with banks. Better returns in the market with blue chip companies!!!
