Good day. When I phoned, I was confused about rolling over my CD. The customer service person was knowledgeable, patient, and most pleasant. What a change from my regular brick and mortar banks' "customer service." THANK YOU!

I was recently offered the opportunity to roll my small balance 11mo no-penalty CD over at maturity, and get a .25% APY bonus. This is a nice deal. Even better though is that I was allowed to change the term, and even add funds and still get the bonus! Ally already has some of the highest CD rates currently available, and this bonus resulted in me getting a higher rate 5yr CD than I can find anywhere else - heck, it's better than many investment grade corporate bonds are yielding right now. I hope that Ally Bank reads these comments - PLEASE continue this loyalty program, you are keeping me as a customer in substantial part because of this program.

The product rate is among the best around for an FDIC insured account. The account opening process is really simple, easy and fast. The customer service number is staffed so that someone answers quickly and answers questions completely. This account is a pleasure.

So many reasons I'm in the process of transferring to Ally as my main bank. The rates and customer service cannot be beat. Have to love that there is no maintenance fees. When I first started at Ally I didn't believe the rates would stay high, but they have. Excellent experience so far.

I opened a CD with Ally and the interest rate was a higher than their competitors. The company was ALWAYS there to answer any questions I had. I don't think I would ever leave this bank!

I have Five CD's with Ally Bank. The statements you send me show a beginning and ending balance for each CD that is the same as the amount initially deposited.The interest is not added each month. . Are you paying simple interest? Why is it that I do not see an increase in the balances each month? How do I find my actual balance in each account?

I just opened a new CD after seeing the add on TV. Did everything online after calling to talk to a real person. She was so helpful explaning how to open a account online. It took me about 10 min. to get it set up. Today I got e-mail to confirm that the CD was all set up. It showed the first days interest, which was more in one day than I was getting at another bank for a month. Wish I had knew about this bank before this. Very happy with Ally.

I first heard about Ally Bank from their TV commercials. I went online to check them out. Liking what I saw on their website, I opened a Savings Account. After a few months trying it out, I then opened 1yr CD. It's by far the best interest rate compared to other banks. Their online navigation and features are easy to use and perfect for someone who doesn't need a brick and mortar bank. Highly recommend Ally!

Best rate around…figure it out, with a two month penalty, if you cancel early and pay the 60 penalty in the first year, you will still beat any rate offered by anyone else !
