As a customer of a large American bank since I was a teenager, I have nursed a seething, ever-growing hatred for their corporate practices and general deceit. I switched to Ally because I spend a lot of time outside of the United States and I knew they have very good ATM fees. What I didn't know is that many of the ATMs I found abroad were completely free to use! Imagine my surprise! The large American bank was charging me $8-$12 for a withdrawal and here's Ally charging me nothing. And they really do refund the fees ATMS here in the States charge. I love Ally. it is the best bank. There is no better option. I LOVE IT! So that's the good part. And when I have had problems such as frozen accounts due to traveling, the people you talk to online actually help you. And they are not robots! What a wonderful bank.

I just opened my account ans made my first deposit by phone in less than 15 minutes. It is so easy to use, Highly reccomend.

I made more interest in one month with ally interest checking than I did in a year with Fee B&T savings account. Ally is awesome!!

Love using my Ally Bank! Easy to use, deposit check on app or through website, check account anytime, withdrawal from many locations. Customer Service is so helpful!

I've had an account at just about every major brick and mortar bank and a few accounts at different online banks. I love Ally. They have the same or more of the features of any other bank I've ever used, have ATM fee reimbursement, great customer service, and don't try to nickel and dime you like the rest of them. Ally's web interface is a breeze to use and their mobile app is pretty slick as well. I've never seen Ally do anything but keep getting better.

The lack of Quicken Express/Direct Connect is the only thing keeping Ally from being my primary bank. And I wold honestly love Ally to be my primary bank. With Quicken, I love being able to click one button and update all of my accounts. It's an invaluable tool. Despite what your Ally website help section says, Express connect does not work. This needs to be fixed. I'm sorry but the web connect is virtually useless as a time saving tool. It's cumbersome and clumsy. Please, I implore you to get this working again.
