Not all ATM transaction fees PAID I learned the hard way on this and passing it on to others before you are charged and Not reimbursed by ally as you might think you will be. If you use your debit card at a ATM gas pump and they charge you a transaction fee, Ally Will NOT reimbursed your fees charged to your debit card as you might think they will. Ally said in Live chat; Only ATM fees are paid back, not transactions fees. I told Ally a fee is a fee, Ally would not reimburse my fee. Lesson learned. Hope this helps anyone who gets a "Transaction Fee" your on your own.

Slow response from customer service. When multiple checks are submitted, only total shows up in account rather than individual checks.

No complaints about the bank products and services.. I love Ally.. I used to send International wires through Ally, they had reasonable rates, fees, and exectuon time. Now they discontinued the international wire service. Puts me in a lot of trouble. Would request to reinstate the service. Help!!

The only thing that I have a beef with is that I bounced a couple of checks in the beginning because I had not figured out a way to get money in the account yet in a timely fashion and now they hold checks for an extended period. So watch that. It was my fault but the holding checks kinda defeats the purpose and it caused me to bounce more because I didn't know about this policy. Other than that, all good.

This is the best banking experience I've ever had. I've had tried a checking account with my local credit union, B of A, Wachovia, a couple others I can't remember the names of, probably because they don't exist anymore. I LOVE ALLY!! I've had an account with them since October '11. I have never....repeat NEVER....been charged a fee for my balance, an overdraft, or a transfer between my accounts. It's great that you can call 24/7. I work late nights/overnight and I can talk to a person EVERY TIME I CALL. And they've been so helpful and nice. That in itself is hard to find. If you don't bank with Ally, you're crazy!!

Might be a little premature to share my experience. I have Chase, TD, and i have had a bank of america account; never have i experience such a smooth pleasent transaction and intoduction with a new account.

I opened a high interest checking account and two savings accounts about ten days ago. Checks and debit cards are in hand. All were very easy to open online and with some assistance from CS. My wife and I are converting all our accounts over to Ally. It was a no brainer with the no ATM fees and high interest rates.

Switched from another online bank for the great interest rate. The account was very easy to set up and I like that Ally has the feel of a neighborhood bank even though it is online.

They always take care of all my needs, fast and easy.

..and the lack of fees and hassles the other banks "offer" makes doing business with Ally a no-brainer. I should have woken up to this sooner!
