I have been with Ally for about 8 months now and have had a fantastic checking experience. No issues at all. Very polite and helpful customer service as well.

I switched to Ally over a year ago and I am so happy I did. I still mourn the ATM fees I paid at my old bank that I will never get back. I have had excellent customer service experiences. (I think I've only had to call like twice in the almost 2 years I've had the account.) My only complaint is the slow transfers. I use another online bank for my savings accounts and the transfers are much faster. That being said, I would rather put up with the slow transfers at Ally because overall this is the best bank account I have ever had. One more thing, I try to tell everyone I know to switch to Ally. However, they do a credit check, so many of my friends don't have the credit history to open an account. Bummer because it's definitely the way to go.

The best bank ever. I love that I can go to any ATM and the bank fees are reimbursed. I love the online customer service feature. The only thing I wish Ally had was the ability to deposit a check with my phone. I recommend this bank to everyone.

To change my privacy preferences is a nightmare. I need to do every time for each account, there are no -pre-filled fields, it takes too much time. You should change and make it easier if you really care we can make a choice. this comment is valid for all the accounts I have. The default should be that YOU DO NOT SHARE OUR INFO not the opposite.

I love Ally Bank, they make it so easy! my only issue is no Bank app for Windows Phone and Windows 8. Please make it happen and I will be a customer for life(otherwise Chase Bank might steal me)

This is by far the easiest and smoothest banking relationship that I have ever had. No hidden fees, no sneaky tactics, just straightforward banking services. I love the overdraft protection service which gives great peace of mind. It was also very easy to setup accounts. The only "downside" is the online banking isn't as sharp as some other banks- but, who cares- it does what you need it to do. Keep up the good work Ally!

Never had a bad experience with your bank except a new debit card disaster in which my name was misspelled twice! I forgive ya! great job folks! Keep up the good work. One suggestion, perhaps make available the ability to buy and hold foreign currency in a separate account as a savings instrument. Like buying Yen now with us dollars and keeping that yen in a separate savings account with you guys and ensure an extremely low or competitive rate at which to do so because after all it would be a savings account. I assume the risk u just hold it.
