I was worried about the mess of changing financial institutions. And didn't know if internet bank could be trusted. And then not being able to talk to some one face to face to fix a problem if a problem arose. But I had become so dissatisfied with chase and their fees. So I tried Ally with a very small amount at first. hmmmm, it was easy and no problems. :) then I opened another account and moved over more money. This time I added some of my house's bill pays. Seamless transition on Ally's side. I have since moved over all my business accounts. I have not been charged a single fee. No surprise 'oh didn't you know' problems. Everyu time I have a question, 'chat' has been good and they have given me good information. I am slowly shutting down one account at a time with chase. Every time they charge me a maintainance fee. Thank you. And I have been with ally for 3 months and have earned more interest in these 3 months with ALLY then with all the years combined I was with my credit union and with Chase. :) Thank you so much

I opened this bank account about a month ago and will be closing my account next week after my check is available. I will make every effort to submit detailed reviews about my expierence with ALLY on every review site I possibly can. I haven't ate, was unable to buy a gift for tomorrows holiday and most importantly was unable to buy my son gifts for his 3rd birthday! But thanks for "understanding my frustration".

I have never had a bank that was so eager to serve me as Ally is. or have customer service 24/7. with all this why would we want any other bank?

I wish my spouse (joint owner of the account) could see the bill payees, pending payments, etc. It's her money too, so it only makes sense. Although she has her own login, we are still forced to share a login for somethings. Kinda silly.

As I write this review, it is based not upon the usual rating criteria...but the "unusual!" I opened this account with a really small amount, and have not to date increased that amount...yet not one issue I have inquired about has been met with anything but the helpful, friendly, yet professional manner one might have expected 75 years ago from banking personnel...Ally IS A WOW Bank...thank you guys...soon Ally will be my full-time bank.

This is a great online bank. However, when I needed my money most to purchase a much needed car, I wasn't able to take out my own money because of the $500 withdraw limit and it couldn't be raised. Other than that this is a great bank with small overdraft fees and not too many fees overall.

I am very pleased with Ally Bank and am tired of the minimum balances and fees that come with traditional brick and mortar banks. Ally Bank offers the most competitive rates on all of their accounts and the website/ease of access with the mobile check depositing app couldn't be easier.
