I am moving away from another bank and checked out all the other banks...this one was on the top of the ratings, so once I reviewed everything, I felt this was the best option! Everything was very easy to setup and fund. LOVE the simplicity but also love the customer service....

I have to admit that for a college student such as myself, Ally banking just makes perfect sense. No ATM or maintenance fees, by itself, is worth the price of admission. I am able to pay my bills, manage a budget, eat and, most importantly SAVE MONEY! This is one of the best bank accounts I have ever had and would never part from Ally. I'm a customer for life!

After years of dealing with banks, Ally is just too easy. The service both online and phone contact has been excellent. I look forward to expanding my banking business with Ally.

Opeining an account was simple and straight forward, once account was open I received my debit card, check register, and checks in a quick time frame. Customer service has good knowledge and listening skills.

I do think that the online banking could use an upgrade, just allowing you to customize your personal settings and minor things. However customer service is great you call they pick up like INSTANTLY no waiting its like a local bank trapped in a big banks body. Another cool thing is the account is free and every ATM is a free ATM, I never use ATM's but I still only pick banks that don't limit me. So if your looking for another bank STOP and choose ALLY.

I like your rates and that was a big reason from moving out of my old bank. However, I do not like the lack of email alerts. With my old bank, which was online and free interest checking as well, I received an email every time I made a transaction. It kept me informed, and in control. I'm going to miss that.

Ally is the best online bank by far. Everything is user friendly and if you do need help they are there for you 24/7. Ally reimburses for ATM fees so every ATM is an Ally ATM.
