It is very hard to make a deposit. Even if you mail it in, it takes a week to process. Every other function is good at Ally.

I finally opened an account with Ally and have been happy with them ever since! Customer Service is top notch -always friendly and helpful- free checks for my account is a great benefit to have as well!

The rates are better than i have found else where, but the bill pay is so far behind the times as to how it displays the pending payments on its calender, or shows pending or scheduled transfers you waste a lot of time switching back and forth from one screen to another. I actually open 2 browser windows to look at my accounts and bills at the same time. All that Ally needs to do to improve the online backing is to populate the calender with all the pending payments and transfers so that you can see them at one tine or list them in order . I stay for the better interest paid on my checking, a penny free is a penny you don't have to earn.

Ally is easy and not complicated which is good. I simply dont have time to stand in line a traditional bank. Ally is an easy button. However with Ally not having brick and mortar locations, their online deposit and website should be the best website since sliced bread and unfortunately its not. The online deposit is slow. The website is not organized and Ally is limited to offerings.

I am so impressed by the professionalism of Ally. They are a bank that actually cares the most about their members and their well-being. The fact that thet refund all ATM fees and make transfers and bill paying so easy is simply awesome. I will never leave Ally if they keep the same ideals and customer service that they do now.

its a modern online bank, with a really fair fee structure, most features have no fees and the ones that do like overdraft is very reasonable, not like other banks. love the fact there are no ATM fees on any banks ATMS, lots of other great features. nice to be able to chat online and it always shows you the wait time for phone customer service. love the way you can do so much online. you wont be disappointed.

When you are an online bank, you should be the the forefront of technology. Chase online is one hundred times better than this. Mobile deposit is a total joke.

I was a customer of a big bank for years. They would nickel and dime me with fees. Everything from printing checks to using an ATM at the grocery store to downloading my data into Quicken. After I bought a new Cadillac and Ally financed it, I started looking into their checking and saving options. I have to say I am impressed!!! Everything from setup to my first statement was as easy as it gets. I seriously don't know how they do it, but I am thrilled to be a customer.
