Why doesn't everyone bank with Ally? As a matter of fact, why did I just recently find out about Ally?

I travel for a living. So, I moved most of my money from Wells Fargo accounts to Ally Bank. I use online savings, interest checking, direct paycheck deposit, and online bill pay. The only issue that I've had is that the bill-pay screens don't look good in Linux OS. But--they're getting better each month. After 2 years, I can say this: no postage stamps, no envelopes, no missed payments, no overdraft fees, interest on checking, interest on savings. Results show I gave myself a $600 per year raise just by switching banks! Thanks Ally!

I switched to Ally because my previous credit union had terrible saving interests rates and started charging a three dollar a month fee. Due to this I opened a money market savings account and wanted to do business with just one bank. So far very pleased with Ally. I also like getting free checks. I also have a auto loan with Ally.

Ally is consistently able to solve any problems quickly and efficiently, without any of the usual bank run-around or red tape. I love using them.

After using Ally for some time, I tried to download my banking info on quicken. Surprise, after announcing some online changes they do not offer it any more. Not just direct connect but no download capabilities at all. No warning or anything. In this day and age no downloading of information. I can't believe it.

I've used Ally as my primary bank for over 4 years now. I've been happy with their interest rates which, even though they've steadily decreased over the past 4 years, consistently beat my other checking options. I love being able to use any ATM for free, although this might allow me to spend more at cash-only places than I would like. Depositing a check is now easy with my phone (it was kind of a pain for a while, but that's all improved now). Every time I've needed to contact Ally on the phone or online, it's been a simple process.

A rocky start, but Ally made it all good. They care about you & your money. And their not affraid to admit when they screw up. They alway make it right, & No fees...YES!
