I am completely satisfied with Ally Bank. The fact that I can call the bank and have money transferred from another facility is so easy and time saving. Also, the customer reps are very helpful, and I can access one of them at any time of the day and/or week. I have always been satisfied with their assistance, and I appreciate the rates the bank offers. I am a single senior living on a very fixed income, so I try to watch every penny. Pat

I have one small request, with my other bank, on the online banking when I click on a transaction involving a check, I can see a picture of that check and any paperwork that went along with it, I feel as though this should be something Ally has too when I click on a transaction. I also would like to be able to access my auto loan and savings account via the same profile but it seems as though those two entities are kept separate for some reason. Perhaps some work could be done to merge the two for easier access. Perhaps if changes like these were made I would consider opening a checking account but for now I am loving the savings!

I switched to Ally because my previous credit union had terrible interests rates and started charging a three dollar a month fee.

I am very satisfied with checking, online savings, CDS, no hidden fees, and the fact that you get back the commission fee on withdrawal, also the infos you get on the chat, are very helpful, thanks Ally.Bank. I transfered all my money from a regional bank and I am very pleased with the service I am getting here

good interest, but if its an online-only bank, it should have a higher interest since it doesnt have as many expenses as a traditional bank

I am somewhat dissatisfied with communications when using electronic deposits. There is NO CONFIRMATION that a deposit has been received! I looking over the entire site, I can find nowhere that I can verify my electronic deposit has been received pending approval and deposit. I realize a weekend was involved by there has now been ample time to give me some sort of communication!! This system needs to be revamped to better communicate with your customers!!!!

It is easy to use and the fees are the best in the industry. You can use any ATM and pay no fees. I love it...

NOTE: You can only transfer money from ONE account to open your new Ally account. You can add another account later, but your initial deposit comes from ONLY ONE SOURCE. When creating my account, I entered the amount I wanted to deposit to open the account. Half was to come from one checking account, the other half from another checking account. Well - there is no "review" page - I put in bank #1 info and BAM! The page says all the money is to come from that account! No place to add a second account up front. I open the online chat and the person says they can't edit the transaction or cancel it - and guess what, neither can I. They can transfer me to another department, but it will take them 2 days to do anything - and by then I'm overdrawn. So the next day (Saturday!!) I have to run to bank #2 and get cash to put in bank #1 so when the withdrawal hits, I won't get overdrawn. Very frustrating that there is no "review your transaction" page before hitting the "submit" button. NOTE #2: I notice I can preview and edit my post, but not my initial transaction! Not good at all. :o(

This product has a great rate and is easy to use. I can transfer funds and get access to my cash with great ease.

no better rates around and it's so convenient to use my bank card for emergencies at ANY ATM and be reimbursed the ATM fees later. :) :) :) thanks so much Ally!

Easy as pie and AMAZING rates, BUT...

Initial deposit from only one bank! Be careful!
