Ally Money Market has an interest rate more than double the amount I was earning previously. I have really enjoyed watching my money grow! Try it, you'll like it! PFD

The offering interest rates are the highest in the market, both checking and saving. It is definitely worth having an account with Ally.

To summarize my opinion: Ally is one of the best banks out there. The rate is low to be unsatisfactory for me, but in this economy, Ally still stands out. Also with a Money Market Account (MMA) please be adviced that there is a monthly withdrawal limit of 6 transactions. Apparently this is a federal law for online bank accounts. The fees are practically non existent. No unpleasant surprises. If you want a bank that you can depend on for stability without paying a price then Ally Bank is a bank to consider.

I tried to log in only to be told that my user ID was blocked/inactive. I tried "Log in under a different user ID" and eventually was able to log in successfully with the same ID (I only have one). I was so distracted wondering what the heck had happened that it took five tries to type in my password. It's not the first time I've had this kind of trouble. Why does this stuff happen?

you can set up recurriing trasnfers with external bank on-line, which I have done before. But recently I add my new bank info and would like to change my recrruiing trnsfers from a new bank account. It is not possible to delete the recurring transfers on-line. They told me the originator must call customer servecie to delete the recurring transfer entries. That is totally unacceptable. when you click on the detail page for the recuriing entries it just keeping loading until we are time out.

During the past week Ally personnel assisted me on line to tranfer accounts from 2 other financial instutions. They also assised me in setting up cd's and a money market account. All personnel I conversed with were very well trained and professional. Excellant service Thank you
