Not having dealt with Ally ever before, I called them last week before opening a Money Market account and asked if they play games with interest rates like some banks do. Ally Bank told me they haven't changed their rate on their Money Market account in 18 months. So I opened my Ally Bank Money Market account 6 days ago. Today I see they've lowered the interest rate.

Overall Great Product(s)/Rates, however for modern day banking, I would like to see an email alert that my direct deposit had been received showing date time and dollar amount.

This whole process is more complicated than necessary. I inadvertently logged into GMAC website went thru the login process and was denied access to my account. No mention of the possibility I went to the wrong login site. The key info, supposed to protect against unauthorized access, is right there after login. What's The point?

I have banked online for many years and must say that Ally Bank is the best I have encountered in every category. Rates, Service, Website that is easy to navigate. A really great banking experience.
