The fact that I can get 50 times higher interest rate on this CD than I can from a typical bank is well enough, but knowing that I can earn good interest while saving my money but still have the safety of being able to withdraw it at any time is my kind of CD!

i read a lot good things about ally until i open the cd.i did open the cd but when it came time to transfer the money from bank to ALLY, it was a disaster...i finally ended up cancel the whole thing.

I switched all my banking and CD's over to Ally over a 2 years ago and could not be happier also had one of my No Penalty CD's mature and roll over and they added a little to the rate that pushes it above what is available for high minimum CD penalty CD's out there, great bank!

Ally has always provided excellent Customer Service. The great rates are excellent too!!! Hope they will not discontinue it.

I like the freedom of a no penalty CD! I use the high interest ones for most of my investment, but use a few no penalty accounts for 'just in case'. I like this flexibility as a young family with only one income.

It is far to hard to obtain a withdrawl with to many questions and far to much sercurity, You need a more timely and faster cost free wire service on any withdrawl. You take the money on line from accounts and need to handle withdrawls the same way.

This is the first CD that doesn't scare me in opening and letting my money stay. And I truly believe that having a no balance CD encourages more people to save.
