I have used this offering from Ally for just over a year and I have absolutely no regrets..I was looking for a vehicle to hold under $100K, provide a reasonable yield (given current economic conditions) yet remain liquid enough for access if I found a need. The No Penalty CD has met all these requirements, setting up the account was a snap, and access is easy either by computer or via mobile device (even talking to a CS rep went well, the one time I tried it). I wouldn't hesitate sending family and friends to Ally, it has served me well.

I like the take money out at any time CD for eleven months. Rate not the best but for 11 months it was. Easy to start and any issues were cleared with human on the phone. I am doing it again and would suggest anyone should use this product.

I have been a customer of Ally's for a few years now and I have to say I've had nothing but positive experiences with the No Penalty CD's. I love the fact that they offer a "loyalty" rate to customers that extend their CD's. I also love the ease of the online services, I opened my accounts sitting confortable in a chair in my family room. I recommend Ally bank to anyone that will listen. Hats off to you for finally being true to your word, when you say you're putting the customer first!

I can not open a new CD, easily, once I log into my online savings account, by using the funds in my savings account. ING, has you beat in this area. Even when you open a new account from outside of being logged in, it is a very drawn out process.

Opened No Penalty CD and was extremely happy with the interest rate (saw online the daily accumulated amount days after opening) and customer service - you talk to person and don't have to go thru numerous automated menus like other banks. Talked to three different representatives and they were all knowledgeable, cogenial, and professional - well trained by Ally!
