So our choices were to stash a bunch of money in a savings / money market account with a nice interest rate, or to put it into a no-penalty CD which pays an even higher rate and funds can be withdrawn without penalty or prior notice. I wish all my decisions were this easy. We are sitting on a bunch of cash due to market conditions but still want to get the best available rate for our money. To keep that nestegg in a savings or MM account is just leaving money on the table.

Try and find a No-Fee CD anywhere else with the terms ally gives you and you will come to realize that you can't! This is one of the best products that Ally offers. They have great rates considering you can take the money out at any time with no fee. From the opening funding to closing the cd, its a breeze. Ally makes it easier to manage your money!

Guys you have a great bank going but with minimum security. Anyone in my family may know the answers to the secret questions and may transfer money. Is it so hard to add a safepass code sent to my cell every time I want to transfer money? So many banks are doing it. Why not you?

It is funny how when i go to transfer my money from a mature cd that there is no option available to take my money out online, depositing is a breeze.

Ally did double withdrawal from my brokerage account to fund a newly opened CD. Instead of immediately transferring the extra money back, they are holding it for 2 weeks (still) and I don;t know if they are ever going to pay the margin interests that was incurred on the extra money that they withdrew from my brokerage account.
