I came for the great interest rate but was worried about losing the face to face customer service I had been use to at my small neighborhood bank... But no more, I just had an issue when I opened up some custodial accounts for my grandkids. They called me back and got my issues resolved. I feel a lot better about leaving my old bank now and am looking forward to collect some tangible interest on my all my savings accounts!

Very easy to open and maintain accounts. They have a reminder of how many transfers you have made out of an account. If you get penalized it's on you!

I have six to seven online accounts at a time and Ally has been a mainstay throughout. I LOVE their ability to initiate ACH transfers to and from my other accounts. The only negative is it actually takes three business days (not two as they represent) to have the monies available. But that is a minor gripe compared to the convenience of setting up the accts and earning a very good interest rate on my money vs offline banks and most online banks. Def recommend.

If you're all about online banking, this is the place to be. Couldn't have asked for a better interface.

I am appalled at the amt of time it takes to be credited with a quick deposit. There is simply no excuse for a deposit to not be available for use the same day. Check with Chase Bank, or Citibank or any of the top 5 that offer this service, I can assure you that I will not be using this feature again!

I've had terrible experiences with banks in the past. Since joining Ally Bank, though, I've never been happier about my banking experience. I would (and often do) definitely recommend Ally to friends and family. After they've joined, they've also expressed feeling happy with their bank...at last. Ally's products, website, customer service (both via phone and chat) are extremely impressive. Wish I'd known about Ally much earlier. But, at least I know now. :-)

I have had absolutely no problems with this bank. They are wonderful and have a great interest rate. I recommend my friends whenever one of them mentions needing a new bank.

wonderful savings account actually builds interest and makes me want to save money. when i called customer service it was the shorted wait ever and all my questions were answered

Ally offers amazing rates and benefits to customers. What is lacking is the delivery of their services. For a company without brick & mortar, you would expect their online services to be above and beyond the competition. Bank of America, for example, offers so much more in terms of customer information as it relates to their accounts. I am able to see Pending processes, Process dates, Available balances, etc. It's a lot more limited in Ally bank's mobile and online offerings. Wish more robust features and info were accessible through Ally.
