Each and every time I've called in to Ally Bank I have been greeted and assisted by very knowledgeable and friendly people. It's very refreshing to deal with someone on the phone who treats you like you are the only customer they have to worry about. It is always a great experience to deal with Ally customer service. Thank you!

Easy to open new accounts. Easy to navigate web site. Always near the top on rates. Timely responses to inquiries or to advise of CD maturities.

Ally's interest rate was higher - maybe by only a fraction, but still higher. Their main menu is much easier to find things on - their routing number, phone numbers, etc. Others (HSBC ie) hide this information so deep as to make you wonder why they don't want you to know what the numbers are. Ally even has a waiting time on the home page to show how long it w/b if you call that number. Love the ease with which I can use them.

Hopefully the online savings rate stays the same or goes higher...It is the highest out there currently so thats nice.

Every time I call Ally I have a great experience. Everyone on the phone is friendly with me, even though I don't have a lot of money. It's valuable to be treated like a human and get million dollar service when I have only a fraction of that. I also love the no-hassle aspects of using an online bank! I love Ally. You're my favorite bank.

good rates compared to other banks, and easy setup. customer support is responsive online. not too bad. but it does not show daily interest; i can only see it at the end of the month. also, was sad to see the interest go down at the close of my first month.

The two-day processing gets old. I like to do many transactions and it drives me nuts that money is pulled from my outside account and then is non-existent for a day until they put it in my Ally account. I do love the interest rate and customer service.

Like many others have done recently I just moved all of my money from ING to Ally. The main reason why I moved was due to the higher rates that Ally offers. The second was that I did not like the fact that ING was acquired by Capital One. I have contacted customer service twice regarding questions I had prior to opening my account. I used the online chat, and so far they have been very helpful. I find the website easy to navigate and have been happy with the service so far. I have been recommending their savings account to all my friends and family. I wish they had a referral program!

I have 2 accounts with Ally. Opening accounts went very smoothly. Best bank rates available although they don't need to start lowering their deposit rates. There is no justification for this; cost of funds is rediculously low as it is. I do not use online banking.
