I've been using Ally since before they were called Ally and have been satisfied with them. The website works swiftly and satisfactorily. The people on the phone are friendly and fix my problems right away. Wait times aren't bad. Usually 5 minutes. And the website and phone both report wait times so you can plan accordingly.

The transfers from my other bank are a little bit slow, but once they go through, I get an interest rate that just can't be beat.

I opened my account with Ally as a result of a recommendation by my Financial Advisor and I have never regretted my decision to do so. From opening my account, to everyday questions, to some difficult transactions, Ally customer service representatives have been very well informed and focused on helping to assist or resolve the concern to the satisfaction of the customer. How refreshing. All this and more while providing consistently high interest rates! If you are looking for a great bank, look no further...Ally is the place!

They are constantly updating and improving their services, which is to be expected with a relatively new system. But you can't beat their customer service and rates.

Opening a saving account with this bank was trouble free. The interest rates are the best rates around. I have recommended the bank to my sister .

What a pain in the butt to verify my account. After multiple tries to log in and verify my account I finally got hold of an agent who told me that my Safari browser wasn't supported. #Fail! Then when I went to verify my micro-deposits the email steps were different than the on-screen steps (not the actual names of the tabs you should click), resulting in more guessing. Other banks have made this a much more intuitive, user-friendly process. Ally is an online bank--you should be the experts at this. Not supporting my browser and having inconsistencies in your email-to-website is not cool.

Can't take cash out of my savings account, transfers between accounts take 3 days before money gets there, customer service just pretty much says "oh well, that's the way it is", not really much help at all! None of this was a problem with my other bank, I switched because there are no fees, but now I'm not sure it's worth the hassle!
