I couldn't believe how secure and easy it was to open an online savings account. I already have a checking account somewhere else because of my job but I wanted a savings account where I could get more than 1 penny a month. I've had several other savings accounts with other banks and no matter how many thousands I had in an account, it seemed I would only get 1 to 2 cents a month. I was better off sticking it in a matress! But with Ally, I feel confident and secure in their rates, returns and their customer service is nice and fast. Thanks Ally for being great!

Would like to see a running total of interest earned for statement period. Like to see what interest is earned per day.

I have been a loyal customer at another bank for a long time, and while I still have accounts that I share with my husband, I thought I'd try out Ally for an additional savings account. Best decision ever. The interest rate is phenomenal, it was so easy to open an account, and I'm getting myself on track to build a pretty decent savings account. My only wish is that it didnt take so long to transfer from Ally to my other bank, it usually takes two to three days to reflect the transfer. All in all, once I can convince the husband to switch everything over here, I will never be looking back. Love it!!!!!

I opened a joint saving account online. I was able to setup a user name and password for myself. But I couldn't find any clue how to set up my wife's online banking user name and password. Until I asked the customer service, nobody told me what to do if it's a joint account. That's too bad. I haven't tried other online saving accounts before, but this is obviously lower than my expectation.

Money to be credited on a transfer to ALLY takes too long to be reflected in account - monies debited from other institution is reflected at other Bank. I would not mind a hold on funds like other Banks if money is shown as coming into account and it earns interest, After signing in at Ally, you ncan not go to "Transfer" without signing in a second time . Every other aspect are excellent such as blank checks for account holder to write checks.

Ally truly has been an ally for me. The rates are great and they always are willing to help and work with you. There has never been a disappointment yet. Would recommend this to anyone.

What a wonder this is, no hidden fees, rates are excellent, no minimum limit fee needed to keep account open. Easy transfers from any other bank account, customer service is excellent. Best kept secret in banking!!

Shifted my account from Capitol One to Ally, only to have rates go down within a month. It wasn't worth the effort. See ya!
