I have had an online savings account with Ally for a couple of years now. It pays a rate much higher than the credit union I use for my daily banking, and it is very easy to use. I love the fact that there are no fees and no minimum balance. With the fees that keep popping up everywhere else, this is truly refreshing.

Last year I moved my savings account to Ally. It's gone smoothly. Simple to transfer money to my interest checking account (also with Ally) anytime, great customer service, and higher interest rates than my previous bank offered. No complaints at all!

Rates have gone down for another year in a row for online savings. Why didn't they stay the same and when will they go up? If another bank opens with a higher interest rate, I will move my money. I did it before when I moved my money from ING Direct to Ally, and I will do it again if need be. I'm sure many of your customers feel this way. You can fill a high interest rate niche if you choose and in the process gain even more customers and business.

I had called customer service regarding a question on my account. The customer Service agent was very helpful and had answered all my questions. I thought the agent was very professional and friendly. I usually do not get this great of customer service with other Banks. I would definitley recomend Ally Bank to family and friends.

When I opened an account with ING years ago, it was much easier and more user-friendly than Ally. I had to call Ally just to set up an acct, couldn't do it completely online, which was annoying to me. However, I decided to open an Ally acct and move some money since their rates were higher. However, the rates dropped soon after I opened my account. So at this point I'm regretting even opening with Ally.

I was a bit wary about some complaints about money transfers not going through. I signed up for an online savings account 2 months ago and had no problems with sign up and have had no problems with money transfers. So, at the moment, everything is great. I can't speak for customer service since I have not had to contact anybody as everything has been done online and has worked as expected.

Great product. High interesty rates. Quick and easy transfers from Interest Checking to OSA using Ally to Ally transfers. Great parallel savings account that works in conjunction with MMDA. Wish I had known that I can not only have a MMDA account, but also an OSA account side by side. OSA be used to build savings throughout the year and then transfer the money to an OSA- IRA to grow and fund lifetime retirement savings goals.
