I was a bit wary about some complaints about money transfers not going through. I signed up for an online savings account 2 months ago and had no problems with sign up and have had no problems with money transfers. So, at the moment, everything is great. I can't speak for customer service since I have not had to contact anybody as everything has been done online and has worked as expected.

Great product. High interesty rates. Quick and easy transfers from Interest Checking to OSA using Ally to Ally transfers. Great parallel savings account that works in conjunction with MMDA. Wish I had known that I can not only have a MMDA account, but also an OSA account side by side. OSA be used to build savings throughout the year and then transfer the money to an OSA- IRA to grow and fund lifetime retirement savings goals.

I was with another online savings company they went from Orange to Red and I do not care for the company in Red. So I made the switch to Ally. The best move ever. So easy, so simple. I had to contact customer service by phone and they could not have been more helpful. I am glad I am now banking with Ally.

I have had savings accounts with a couple different banks since I got my first account. Ally by far has blown all other savings accounts out of the water with their interest rates and the ease of use their website offers. I am also extremely pleased that I feel like the policies and guidelines with my account make sense. I'm not being charged strange fees and I'm free to do what I want with my money, when I want. I love Ally!

when i do an echeck deposit on my mobile device, i can see it in pending status, however, online there is no way to check this (or at least an easy location). i checked within the account i deposited it into, i checked in the "deposit" section, transfer section, etc. and apparently there is no record of it. but on my mobile i see it right there. however, on the mobile device, when doing an echeck deposit, the four corners of where it wants you to place the check is not the right size for all checks and sometimes has an issue with different size checks. additionally, when the picture is taken it is clear, but when it processes it becomes blurry before i can approve "use this image" so not sure if i should approve or retake..

I was an Emigrant Direct customer for years. They used to have the highest rates. Not anymore. Ally beats them in every category.
