24/7 Customer Service is great. I was able to redirect my maturing CD on a Saturday w/out missing a beat. The rates are relatively better than other competitors, & with the opportunity to raise the rate if the markets improve is a key point for me. Now, if only the rates were higher.

My service with you was very good... You all need to teach the ally demand department... They lost my deposit and its still not fixed after four tries and the money is still missing... Your rated A+ and demand notes department rated F-.. Please help them!!!!

I would like to write a heart felt thank you to the customer service people because they are so helpful each time I have called to ask for assistance. They are always curtious and very helpful even when the customer was just forgetful of his password and username. Thanks again.

In light of dismal interest rates, I wanted to put at least some of my cash into something a little more rewarding than my local bank's money market account was able to offer. I got a 4-year, 2 rate raise CD--if there's EVER a chance to use the rate raises! The rates at Ally were good in comparison to most everywhere else and the customer service, setup, and all involved has been great so far. The option of raising the rates and the liberal early withdrawal policy, only 2 months' interest as opposed to my bank's 6 month interest penalty, really gave me peace of mind that I'm not taking a wild chance here. I'm liking Ally Bank a lot!

Ally Bank's online access is incomplete due to the fact that it does not allow the customer to transfer funds from a maturing CD to the customer's existing Ally Money Market account.

My comments apply to all of the CD products; I have six separate CD's with Ally now. Sure, interest rates are not great for savings anywhere now, but Allly has the best available. I particularly like the phone customer service helping me to open these accounts, and the thorough documentation I get in the mail. It takes just a fraction of the time to open an account with Ally that it used to take, sitting in a bank lobby waiting for an account rep; and the service is friendly and helpful. Good work, Ally!

Ally is a great place to keep a little extra cash on the sidelines for immediate use. Set up is simple as are transfers to our our other financial institutions. Rates are the best around with lots of upside (two % raises allowed) and low downside (small penalty just in case you need your cash)!
