The NUMBEOUS TIMES I called the customer service people at Ally has caused me to CLOSE ALL MY ACCOUNT. There is NO UNDERSTANDING of the importance of a bank relationship. They talk as if they were reading from a prepared text and do NOT have he ability to problem solve. I have since had to establish myself with another banking institution.

I opened my raise-your-rate CD with Ally because of the good rate b- and intense advertising. I inadvertently messed up opening an account on line AND by mail - ending up with 2 accounts - with money in only one. Your customer service rep straightened it all out for me by phone - thoroughly and pleasantly. I am impressed and look forward to a long association with your bank.

I am pleased with the competitive rate and flexibility of my "Raise Your Rate CD". The only problems I had were around the account set up and transfer. Somehow my funds spent 2 days in cyberspace before being deposited into my ALLY account even through they had been removed from my local bank account. However now that the accounts are properly set up and the signature cards are signed and mailed, I expect things will work smoothly with my relationship with ALLY.

Terrible idea. Raise your rate CD. Rates are at an all time low. They isn't a possibility of raising your rate to a better rate in the limited time allowed. Don't waste your money and tie up your funds.

I got a great rate when I opened this account! I've been watching the current rates to use my "Raise My Rate" feature, but I haven't been able to. They also give you the best rate of the 10 days following the day you open the account!

I have withdrawn all my funds and have left ALLY due the ridiculous hoops that it mandates in order to rename exisitng accounts into a trust.

Funded new CD by ACH transfer initiated by Ally. Ally ended up duplicating transfer request, causing overdraft fee at my funding bank. Will take month to get statement with overdraft fee, week to mail copy to Ally, weeks for Ally to cut refund check (right, checks in the mail). Don't trust Ally to fund new CD's, have funding bank send wire transfer.

Twice in the last few weeks I have spoken to an on-call servive person to inquire why there is a serious discrepancy in the interest accrued to my two large CD's when they were opened about ten days apart. Each time the person on call acknowledges the discrepancy and says it will be taken care of, but it never is. I can be reached by phone. I would like this resolved soon.

I find it very easy banking with Ally, online or by phone. Customer service is great.
