I like everything about Ally except the information shown when I look at my account summary page. On multiple occasions I have requested the addition of the CD interest accumilated to show a total at the bottom of the interest colunm. This would enable me to quickly view the interest change total from the previous day, week, etc. To date after a year of asking nothing has happened

The raise your rate CD, with a low opening balance and a chance to actually make a little bit of interest, is an awesome way to force myself to keep my hands out of my savings. I love this product!

By Ally giving a customer, what I would call a surprise gift, by increasing your cd rate (one time only) just inspires me to continue banking with them now and in the future. Thanks Ally!

You opened a 12 month CD instead of an 18 month when I elected re-deposit. This was after I made the effort to confirm my telephone conversation with an email to your customer service department!!!

Accounts are easy to open online. Navigating the Ally website is a breeze. (The live chat was slow to get any answers.) When you renew your CD's they give you a 10 day best rate and they automatically give you a .25% increase for staying with them and renewing. In these times, it can add up and your money continues to grow at a better rate.

The coolest part of this type of CD is two fold, you have the option to have the interest rate earned on an existing 2 year CD raised if interest offered goes up and receiving a loyality bonus for maintainin your CD when it matures for another 2 years.

I have a large amount of money with Ally Bank. I believe I am a "loyal' customer; therefore when I decide to change money from money market or savings into a CD, I feel I am entitled to a loyalty bonus at that time, not just when the CD renews.

Besides haveing great rates, ally has excellent customer service. I called for info about online banking that wasn't clear to me, reached a real person very quickly (after business hours), and received clear answers from a lovely woman (who had a foreign accent but that was no problem). My wish is that ally would send an alert when rates go up, especially for raise-your-rates CDs.
