While starting an early morning CD, I hit an online snag and was directed to the telephone. Terry in Spokane was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and had things fixed and verified in minutes. This is the only bank I use that I have no problems with on the phone as well as internet.

Overall I like Ally Bank, but there are a few issues with the Raise Your Rate CDs that aren't good. You cannot get e-mail notifications when you have a statement or document that is online. If you have a lot of CDs like I do in various banks it is not convenient to have to go online just to find out if you have correspondence avaialble. If customers don't want paper statements, etc., due to mail theft and the like ,and they want all notices to be available online it would make sense to send an e-mail to notify them that there is information that they should read. Also not being able to see the monthly interest that is accrued on the account because it does not post. Also, if you try to print out the rules for using this communication area you cannot choose the printer you would like to use. It merely goes to your "default" so you cannot print to PDF. Thank you

Excellent product with a great return. Renewal after 2 years includes a 25 bps reward, on top of the already aggressive rate, which you will not be able to find for any 2 year CD. Ally Bank just gets it!!

like the security features. Site navigation one of least intuitive I have ever experienced. Menu options are not descriptive enough. Site is just plain quirky. For my money, Chase banking site is the most intuitive by far

Your products, rates and services are superior to your competition. Online banking is informative and easy to navigate. Opening an acccount online is easier than ordering a pizza online. Thank you for the safe haven away from the market madness and current social unrest. Oh and giving me a choice on making a rate change lets me pick a longer term with a better rate AND still take advantage of rate increases. Who needs to ladder CDs like this.
