I opened a CD with Ally and with my main bank during the same time and I have earned more with Ally. Also, my savings account has earned a better rate. I am considering making Ally my main bank. Thanks for a job well done in a tough economy.

Customer service is generally good. When renewing a raise your rate CD they made several mistakes including failure to backdate as promissed. The process to way to long.

Customer Services is outstanding. I just switched a substantial amount of funds from a local bank to Ally. Very convenient, smooth opening and I especially like the raise rate feature.

when I first heard of Ally Bank you rates were great of course the whole country went belly up and the rates went down but you look like it bottomed out and its starting to leval out. so I think that you are still one of the best bank around.

Great for building a few up here and there as I'm building a better financial portfolio. Ally has great communication and rates!

After opening two raise your rate cd's I find that interest is accurred not paid monthly. Which makes it difficult to track income ton these accounts. If I had known that this was the case I would have put our money elsewhere. We have money at several other online banks and all interest is paid monthly.

So far so good. Took quite a while for the transfer deposit to show up at Ally online, but deposit was recorded promptly.
