What I like. Ease of opening a cd. Low minimum balance requirements. Ease of listing and changing beneficiaries. 5 star rating with Bankrate.out of 5 stars. It beats my other 5 banks for the above likes. Best interest of my 6 banks. What more can I say? It is becoming my #1 bank.

The Ally "Raise Your Rate CD" is the best product to meet our retirement financial needs. I like the raise your rate email alert feature that notifies when their CD rate increases and allows you to change to the better rate. The Ally web site is easy to navigate. I would recommend reviewing products and services with Ally Bank.

Ally Bank is very efficient and makes online transactions very safe and secure. It is comforting to know that you can get in touch with them 24/7!! I couldn't even do that with my local bank!! I'm glad Ally Bank is in business. The savings/CD rates are much better than I can find locally and I am moving my funds to Ally.

I request interested to be posted daily. Ally says well we kinda do, but you just don't see it. I say I want to know it's posted daily. Ally says well trust us, and you can look at the total interest paid on there, THEN i get a letter from their executive officer which tells me that IF I DID NOT CHOOSE FOR INTEREST TO BE POSTED DAILY, IT WOULD BE POSTED ONCE A YEAR. Again, I call and request daily. OH NO, WE DON'T POST IT DAILY ON THAT. OK, so then WHY does your officer's letter tell me IF I DIDN"T REQUEST IT it will be posted annually I DID REQUEST IT -- repeatedly! Totally wrong -- NOT SO TRANSPARENT> what I wanted was to know that daily interest is figured on balance w/accumulated interest on it.
