Does Ally offer anti-virus or anti-malware software to its customers?
Yes. Ally offers its bank customers Prevx 3.0 - an anti-malware software that detects, removes, and protects your computer from malicious software - at no cost to you.
Don't have a bank account with Ally? Open an account online or call us at 1-877-247-ALLY (2559).
To download and install Prevx 3.0:
Log in to your bank account and select security at the bottom of the page. In the Security Center, select the Prevx offer and follow the steps to download and install the software.

Does Prevx 3.0 work with my existing anti-virus software?
Yes. Prevx 3.0 won't interfere with your existing software so it can be used as an extra layer of protection.

How do I get a license key for Prevx 3.0 anti-malware software?
A license key will be provided to you as part of the Prevx 3.0 installation process. If you forgot to enter your key when you installed the software, you can go to our Security Center to get a new one.
To access the Security Center:
Log in to your bank account and select security at the bottom of the page. In the Security Center, select the Prevx offer and then select get started to get your new license key.

Where do I enter my license key for Prevx 3.0 anti-malware software?
During the installation process, simply select the Options tab on the Prevx welcome screen and enter your unique license key when prompted.
Already installed Prevx 3.0?
Open the Prevx 3.0 software to go to the Prevx dashboard. Choose the License tab, and enter your unique license key when prompted.

Why do I need anti-malware software if I already have anti-virus software?
Anti-malware software is different than anti-virus software. Most anti-virus software just looks for known viruses so it's important to have anti-malware software which looks for suspicious behavior. Prevx 3.0 will provide an extra layer of protection to your existing anti-virus software.
