To participate, you must open an account through the links provided on this page. This is an online offer only—there are no in-person, mail-in, call-in, or other offline methods to participate. Failing to open your account without following the links provided on this page will disqualify you from receiving the bonus. One bonus per customer and only one bonus paid per account. For example, if a husband and wife both enroll for the bonus, but only open one eligible joint account, only one of them will receive the bonus.
You must open your eligible account between 08/24/2022 and 09/22/2022 AND set up automated recurring deposits and make a minimum of 3 monthly automated recurring deposits by 12/21/2022. Total deposits of $750 or more by 12/21/2022.
You must keep your monthly automated recurring deposit active, your new eligible Ally Invest account open and in good standing at the time of the bonus payout to receive your bonus. If you've followed the enrollment and eligibility requirements, we'll pay your bonus by 01/10/2023 to an Ally Invest Self-Directed Trading account or Robo Portfolio account you own. If you open more than one Ally Invest Self-Directed Trading account or Robo Portfolio, Ally Invest will pick an account to fulfill. You will receive an email with your bonus details closer to bonus payout.
The bonus will only be paid directly to the new account, not by check or transfer to another account. Ally Invest, in its sole discretion, can decline an account application or cancel payment of the bonus.

We'll treat the bonus as interest for tax reporting purposes. You should talk to your tax advisor about potential impacts to your 2023 tax liability.
