If you want to talk about Ally online or in print, use this resource as a guideline prior to approvals. Talk to your Ally Lending account manager whenever you use the Ally name or logo, so they can get approval. You can also email assets for approval to approvals.lending@ally.com. Be sure to allow enough time for review.

Link to the application from an ad on your website.

Visit Provider Online Services and select Weblink & Display Ad from the menu to get a customized application URL. Display the ad on your website linking to the unique URL.  

 

Email the link directly to your customers.

Visit Provider Online Services and select the envelope icon next to the New Application button on the homepage. You can then send an application link via email directly to the customer, so they can access the application at their convenience.

 

Provide a tablet or computer access in person.

Give customers the option to apply in person by pulling up the application on the office’s computer or tablet. Bookmark the application in a browser for quick access.

Payment Calculator should contain a clear asterisk with the below messaging clearly presented on the page.   

  • Estimates, Annual Percentage Rates (APRs), Terms and Payment Plans May Not Be Available At All Providers.  Please Consult Your Provider For Availability and Applicable Rates. Actual figures may vary based on your credit score.

 

Requirement 2:

Must appear as text next to monthly payment amounts on interest promotion offers.

  • Monthly payment to meet promotional payoff within 12 Months

 

Requirement 3:

Must appear as text next to regular installment offers.

  • Low monthly payments, no early payoff penalties

 

Requirement 4:

Must appear as text next to interest promotion offers.

  • Interest credited back once promotional terms are met

 

Prequalification Disclosures

 

Requirement 1:

Must appear as text at the top of the application page.

  • To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the USA Patriot Act requires all financing institutions to obtain, verify and record information that it uses to identify each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, physical address, date of birth, taxpayer identification number and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying information.

 

Requirement 2:

Must appear as text underneath the email address input field.

  • A valid Email is required to send an electronic copy of the account documentation.

 

Requirement 3:

Must appear as text underneath the gross annual income input field.

  • Enter the amount that corresponds to your total Gross Household Income before taxes. Income from alimony, child support or separate maintenance payments need not be disclosed if you do not wish to have this income considered as a basis for repaying this obligation.

 

Requirement 4:

Non-by passable checkbox with disclosure language below. This disclosure must be the first disclosure listed for disclosures that require acknowledgement by the customer. The blue text below should be clickable and trigger a pop-up with additional disclosure text. The customer must open the agreement to proceed, even if they’ve checked the box.
