Every day, there seems to be another way cyber criminals target unsuspecting (and even prepared) people online. But, if something online seems more than a little “phishy,” what should you do? Report it. Knowing the right agencies and organizations to alert when you spot potential cyber scams, identity theft, fraud, and more can keep everyone safe online.

Graphic encourages people to report potential cyber crime using the following methods: Suspected fraud should be reported to www.ftc.gov/complaint. Suspected identity theft should be reported to www.identitytheft.gov or the Social Security Administration at 1-800-269-0271. Online crime and scams should be reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov or the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency at www.cisa.gov/uscert/report. Phishing scams should be reported to National Cybersecurity Communication and Integration Center at www.us-cert.gov/report. Suspicious text messages can be copied and forwarded to the text number 7726. Suspected fraud on Ally accounts should be reported to www.ally.com/contact-us/ or 1-833-226-1520.
