I did not yet have my routing # so I went to do a check yesterday to pay property taxes but it said it would not be paid till 12/16. So I called today to get the routing # and now the tax collector wont take it online cause yesterday was the last day to pay online to avoid penalties (their bill did not indicate this). I can't pay online now until 12/23 when they add the penalty so I went badk online to pay from Ally's site but now it says it will be paid on 12/19. Why does it take so long?

My wife's name is Denelle Carla Marks. We financed a 2010 Jeep Liberty and it was paid up in full a couple of years ago. Unfortunately through my own neglect at times and many unfortunate incidents well beyond my control our credit went from around 750 to somewhere in the 300 range. Fortunately my FICO is now nearing 600 although it has recently dropped a little due. A couple of years ago I became grossly late I think 2 or 3 months on the final payments of my Jeep Liberty. I was out of town struggling to find work and my vehicle was repossessed. I hurried home and paid the balance off. I am using Credit Karma and was using Lexington Law Firm to reestablish my credit. I think my loan originated with you guys 7 years ago. Can you guys find it in your hearts to take any negatives off my credit report? Aiiy,is the most useless bank, have ever hear of a dam bank you can not pay total pay off on a truck, you have to pay it off in 2 or3 large payments, other banks have told me that was bullshit. Then when you pay off it takes them up to 10 freaking days to get a email or a fax to just let someone know that it has been payed off.
