Retail contracts
Once we receive your payment, the money is first applied to any daily finance charges (such as interest) that have accrued since your last payment. Any additional money is automatically applied to the amount financed – also known as the principal, and then advanced to the next payment due date, assuming there are no other late or unpaid charges on the account.
Lease agreements
Your payment is first applied towards sales tax, then towards the monthly rental payment. Certain states assess Personal Property Taxes (PPT) on Lease vehicles based on the consumer’s garaging address.
