This happens either one of two ways: you missed a payment, or you didn’t pay the full minimum amount due.
Vehicle accounts:
Log in and select your vehicle, then Payments, then Enroll in Auto Pay. Once you’re enrolled, the menu will change to Edit Auto Pay, where you can make changes or cancel Auto Pay at any time.
You can cancel your Auto Pay payment any time before 3 pm ET on the scheduled payment date.
Keep in mind: if you're already enrolled in Direct Pay, you have to cancel it before enrolling in Auto Pay.
Credit cards:
On the web:
Log in, select your credit card account, select Payments, then Set Up Auto Pay.
On our app:
Log in, select your credit card, then Menu, Payments, then Enroll in Auto Pay. Once Auto Pay’s set up, Enroll in Auto Pay changes to Manage Auto Pay. Go there to make changes, or to cancel Auto Pay at any time.
Home loans:
Log in, select your home account, then Make a Payment. From there, you can turn Auto Pay on. Once activated, you can set up your payment preferences, edit, or stop Auto Pay at any time.
Online
The fastest, easiest way to make a payment is on our website or app. Log in and select Make a Payment right from your Snapshot.

Send your payment by check to:

Make sure to write your account number on your check and to mail it 7-10 days before the payment due date to allow for delivery and processing. We’ll credit your mail payment the day it’s received, not the day you mail it.

Payment processing time
For all of our payment methods, payments made before 11:59 pm ET are credited for that day, even though it may take another 1 or 2 days to process and reflect in your current balance. Sometimes it can take up to 7 days for your available credit to increase by the amount of your payment.
