Rear Adm. Troy Pugh joined Ally in 2023, ready to apply his experience leading intelligence teams to his new role as Senior Director of the 2nd Line Fraud Program. But in 2025, another role took priority. As a U.S. Navy Reserve member, Pugh was unexpectedly called to duty.

Money Skills, our free nationwide workshop that helps people better understand their relationship with money, has been a part of our financial literacy efforts since 2017. In 2025, we examined the experience end-to-end and rethought how the program could better serve participants.
