Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your Auto Pay payment any time before 3 pm ET on the scheduled payment date.
Keep in mind: You can only cancel a payment if you’re the person who scheduled the payment.
-
Your payment will be applied on the day you scheduled it for. If your payment is scheduled for the 29th, 30th or 31st and the month doesn’t have that many days, we’ll apply it on the last day of the scheduled month.
For example, if your monthly payment is normally applied on the 30th day of the month, your February payment will be applied on Feb. 28 because February has fewer than 30 days.
-
Log in to Ally Auto at least 4 business days before your due date and select your vehicle from your Snapshot.
Select Cancel Direct Pay from the top right of your vehicle details page and follow the directions.
You can also contact us to stop or suspend Direct Pay. This will cancel all future payments. You'll need to re-enroll if you want to have Direct Pay in the future. Note: If your payment is already in process, you will be unable to cancel Direct Pay.
