When a covered customer’s vehicle requires repairs, they are reimbursed for vehicle rental or public transportation fees when:
- Two or more manufacturer-labor-time-guide hours are required for the repair or
- Their vehicle is not drivable and must be kept overnight and
- They provide a receipt for vehicle rental or public transportation costs
Most makes and models of new and used vehicles – even those with mileage up to 150,000 – are eligible for VehicleOne coverage.
A lease that has a fixed term and predetermined mileage and wear restrictions. With a closed-end lease, the lessee is not responsible for the residual value at lease-end.
Eligible adaptive equipment
Equipment that is (1) permanently installed in the vehicle, (2) installed for a driver or passenger with a permanent disability, and (3) purchased from and installed by a licensed equipment installer.
Emergency roadside assistance
Emergency roadside assistance is available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Benefits under the plan cover certain costs up to $50 per occurrence.
Essential government work
Essential government work includes police and fire department activities, school bus service, ambulance service, snow removal work, Department of Transportation travel, and Department of Public work activities.
Includes all vehicles that a municipality uses to maintain day-to-day governmental operations.

With an open-end lease, your customer's business assumes maintenance of the leased vehicle and is responsible for the vehicle's residual value at the end of the lease. In a closed-end lease, the leasing company is responsible for the vehicle's residual value.
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
Removes 4-inch or smaller dents and dings that do not compromise the paint from the exterior body panels of your vehicle. Light abrasions to the paint can generally be buffed out.
The price set to sell the vehicle to Ally on the Special Prepayment date. This is determined at the time the customer signs an Ally Buyer’s Choice contract rider. Please note: this price is subject to deductions for a disposition fee and any excess vehicle wear and mileage charges; see the contract rider for details.
Repair Advantage Trip interruption
We will reimburse you up to $75 per day and a maximum of $375 per repair visit for unplanned hotel and restaurant expenses if a covered failure occurs more than 100 miles from your home and before you reach your destination and also results in a licensed repair facility keeping your vehicle overnight. No deductible will apply. Not available in Kansas.

Special Prepayment Date
A date at 48 or 60 months of the Ally Buyer’s Choice term in which the buyer can prepay by selling the vehicle to Ally for a predetermined price.

Reimbursement up to $150 per day ($750 maximum) for unplanned hotel and restaurant expenses incurred if a covered component fails and requires more than a day to repair.
VehicleOne Trip interruption
If a Breakdown covered by this Contract occurs more than one hundred (100) miles from Your home and prior to Your destination which results in a Repair Facility keeping Your Vehicle overnight, We will reimburse You for unplanned receipted motel/hotel and restaurant expenses, up to a maximum of seventy-five dollars ($75) per day for up to three (3) days for a maximum of two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225) for each repair visit. Windshield repair protection
Covers the cost of repairs to the front windshield and includes minor repairable chips and cracks caused from propelled rocks and other debris.
