Ally Auto Care®

Covers common vehicle maintenance needs.

Protect yourself from rising vehicle maintenance costs by purchasing pre-paid coverage. Eligible services include engine oil changes (plus oil filter), chassis lubrications, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs performed at your selling dealership.

Get more peace-of-mind with:

Protection available for standard and hybrid vehicles up to 20 years old

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)

Protects you from the “gap” in the event of a vehicle total loss.

If your vehicle is totaled in an accident, your insurance may not cover the full amount you owe on it. Insurance usually pays the cash value at the time of loss, not the full amount of your outstanding debt. GAP helps cover the amount between the cash value and the outstanding balance.

Here's an example to show you how it works: 

Let’s say your vehicle is totaled in an accident. You still owe $25,000 on your loan, but your insurance only pays you the current value less your deductible, which comes to $20,000.

SmartLease® Protect

If you’re leasing a vehicle, you may owe lease-end fees for extra wear and mileage. SmartLease Protect helps to cover many of these fees so you have peace of mind during the extent of your lease. View our Smartlease Protect Brochure (PDF) to learn more.

  • There's no deductible

  • We’ll cover missing equipment and parts with a value of $150 or less per part, including navigation system DVDs, DVD player headphones and remote controls

  • We will waive excess mileage charges up to $400

  • If you drive an average of 25,000 miles or less a year, we’ll cover up to $7,500 of excess wear charges

  • If you drive an average of 25,000 miles or more a year, we’ll cover 50% of excess wear charges, up to $3,750

  • We’ll waive charges for single items of covered excess wear such as dings and dents that are less than $1,000 each

SmartLease Protect helps cover the following:

Everyday Protection Products

Repairs or replaces tires and wheels damaged by a covered road hazard. All coverage levels offer terms ranging from 1-6 years and includes 24/7/365 roadside assistance.

Utilizes an innovative paintless dent repair (PDR) process to remove minor dings and dents on your vehicle’s vertical surfaces with no sanding, painting, or body fillers. Coverage is available in convenient 1-6 year terms.

Helps safeguard your vehicle by permanently etching a unique 6-digit number on six glass surfaces along with warning decals.

Uses a DNA marking system by placing permanent tamper-resistant labels on six areas of your vehicle which leave a traceable mark that can only be detected by UV light if removed.

Helps protect your vehicle’s exterior finish from contaminants like acid rain, bird waste, and tree sap, which are not covered under your factory warranty. Interior fabric protection protects against accidental spills and stains. Includes a 10 year warranty.

Utilizes a permanent process that extracts air from a crack, chip, or star with a curable resin that helps prevent spreading while restoring strength and visibility.

Helps you obtain a replacement key fob in the event it's lost, damaged, or stolen. Plan terms range from 1-6 years and you’ll also enjoy 24/7/365 roadside assistance.

Multi Protection

Provides layered coverage bundles that can include all or some of the following: tire and wheel, dent, windshield, and key protection.
